This is a natural deodorant that is a rendition of my grandmother's recipe. The inclusion of the Greenbriar (Smilax spp) root wild-harvested right here on Soapy Oaks farm is the key ingredient that prevents bacteria from growing under moist areas of the body such as under the arms, this along with the zinc dioxide will make sure you stay smelling fresh without harsh chemicals or aluminum.
Note: This is not an antiperspirant, meaning your pores will not be prevented from doing what they do naturally, it just stops the bacteria from growing and creating odor
My grandmother honestly believed that the inclusion and combination of three of these ingredients had magical properties, you can of course dismiss that as a folktale if you wish, or you can believe in magic and see what happens when you use this formula.

This works very well at blocking any odor and lasts all day for normal use. Not sure if I worked out. Haven't tested that yet. It does go on alittle thick but I have found ways to work with it. The smell is okay. Don't hate it or love it. It's very strong for a few hours but the smell doesn't linger to long and it's an earthy scent for sure. Not overly earthy thankfully otherwise I wouldn't use it lol. It does what it claims to do and that is the most important thing.

I have ordered this product twice now. I loved the deodorant itself, it smells amazing, goes on ok, does leave a little residue but not bad, the deodorant isntself seems to be slightly inconsistent. However, the cardboard tube it comes has absolutely nothing positive about it. When I push it up from the bottom, it is like the deodorant inside didn't harden flat and the plunger kicks sideways. There is no way to push it back down. It is so soft that if you try to use your fingers they push into it. So I am left to just not put the cap back on but just set it lightly on top and hope the deodorant doesn't stick to the cap. I have some of these same issues with the chapstick. Cardboard is earth friendly but very much not user freidnly. I will check back before I put in my next order. I hope the applicator changes by then.

I love the smell and the way it goes on and lasts. Just don’t like the cardboard container. Gets messy about the halfway mark.
