This is a natural deodorant that is a rendition of my grandmother's recipe. The inclusion of the Greenbriar (Smilax spp) root wild-harvested right here on Soapy Oaks farm is the key ingredient that prevents bacteria from growing under moist areas of the body such as under the arms, this along with the zinc dioxide will make sure you stay smelling fresh without harsh chemicals or aluminum.
Note: This is not an antiperspirant, meaning your pores will not be prevented from doing what they do naturally, it just stops the bacteria from growing and creating odor
My grandmother honestly believed that the inclusion and combination of three of these ingredients had magical properties, you can of course dismiss that as a folktale if you wish, or you can believe in magic and see what happens when you use this formula.

While I like the deodorant, it smells nice, kinda herbal, but not strong enough to prevent BO from happening. I don't think it agrees with my body chemistry. It goes on smooth and silky, I was expecting it to be hard/solid but it was lovely and easy to apply.
