Dandelions grow wild here at Soapy Oaks Farm in NE Texas and my family has harvested and benefited from teas & tinctures made from this delightful and healthful root. I harvest (dig) the roots in late summer after bloom and seed dispersal when all the nutrients and natural constituents are most active in the roots. I use no pesticides or herbicides on my land, these are 100% organically grown. After harvest, these are carefully washed, dry roasted (choice of raw or roasted) at low temperature, and cut for easy use in a tea bag or tea ball.

I will continue to buy from Soapy Oaks Farm. I appreciate their values- naturally dried, responsibly harvested, and most importantly, harvested from their own land- a 75 year old organic farm! It’s really important for me to know that plants I buy come from loved land, and not areas being sprayed/contaminated/non-organic. I really appreciate businesses that still provide true medicine, thank you Soapy Oaks Farm.
