Salt in soap has been used for gentle exfoliation for a very long time, when dissolved and added to soap they add beneficial minerals and clean the skit without drying, while helping with things like acne prone skin and overly oily skin. There are studies to suggest salt bars can help balance the natural oils in the skin as well. Bison Tallow & Coconut Oil are the stars of this salt bar, the tallow is most like the fat in human skin, meaning it works in conjunction with your own natural oils to clean gently without stripping our natural moisture. The coconut oil helps to add lather and gentile cleansing. A great bar to add to any bathing regimen. NOTE: the large pink salt on top should only be used on bottoms of feet as it can be very rough on tender skin of body. In addition, these are "rustic" bars, meaning they may have imperfections, though I think it adds charm.

I love all of the soaps from this shop but this a new favorite as well. I love that it exfoliates and leaves your skin soft and is made from natural ingredients. You cannot go wrong with anything from this shop !

Horrible soap. It doesn't lather and there was no salt on it. Also, it was cut into a weird thick shape.

Really good soap and would recommend, but be careful when using. The salt scratched me up pretty good.
